To contact us Click HERE I had the opportunity to visit with Jim Harrison today about his plans to be a candidate for the Republican Party's nomination for Sheriff of McHenry County.
Jim is a lawyer in Woodstock and is a former deputy in the McHenry County Sheriff's Department in the 1990s. Following an on-duty automobile accident when he was responding to a reported accident with injuries (Jim was running up Route 23 at night and topped a hill to find a herd of deer in the roadway), he went to law school and changed careers.
In addition to his law practice which has a heavy emphasis on employment law, he teaches Constitutional Law at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
Jim's campaign is organizing and will become active after the first of the year.
